Readers Chronicles

Winner of Most Innovative

Intro to Game Design with Samuel Maturo and Arthur Lee

This game is inspired by the ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ novel, particularly chapters 455-458 titled ‘Square Circle.’ It features a narrative loosely based on the original story, crafted in the style of a JRPG. The adaptation aims to faithfully capture the essence of the source material.

The player navigates through different life stages in a close-knit neighborhood, completing quests for townsfolk that teach valuable life lessons and address social issues. Starting from childhood, players do simple tasks and gradually tackle more complex challenges that advocate for social justice as they age.

Elevation of ascent

Intro to Game Design with Brooke Richards and Shay Yano

Platformer with different levels and obstacles. You need to do some platforming to find the teleport stations (they look like golden buttons). This will get you to the next level, there are 3 levels. To move and jump you need to use the wasd keys to move your character left, right, front, and back. The space key is used for jumping.
