Paperfall

Winner of Most Innovative

Martin Archer, Katrina Choi, and Jessica Dominguez

Intro to Game Design with Byron Beasley and Lisa Jurca

You play as Piko, a small paper creature made from recycled paper. As the paper world collapses due to climate change, you must glide, fold (crouch), and overcome challenges, like crumbling forests, melting ice, and polluted oceans. Each level represents a different environmental crisis. Using your abilities, you collect messages left behind by people and animals affected by the collapse along the way. Your goal is to reach the Paper Tree, the last living thing in this fragile world, and rewrite the future before everything turns to ash.
