You’ll be able to walk out with your own 2D pixel art character with an extension activity for animation!

Generating to Create is an interactive workshop where students are introduced to generative AI using image generation as a medium. Students explore how AI models are trained, why prompt structure matters, and what the real tradeoffs are between what these tools make possible and what they cost us. Students are guided to build prompts with scene, subject, and constraints to create a digital zine.
